Spirit of the Mountains Day Camp
08 is scheduled for July 21 - 25 & July 28 - August 1. Camp will be held
daily from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Teton Science School, Jackson Campus. Our camp
welcomes campers ages 4-12. Cost: $300/week for JHJC members, $350/week
for non community members.

Meet
our new Summer Camp Director Andrea (Andie) Rongey
Over the last eight years, Andie has worked for Teton
Science Schools in many different capacities including Teacher Learning
Center Director, Journeys School Administrative Coordinator, After School
Program Director, and Upper Elementary School Faculty and Lead Teacher.
She graduated from Teton Science Schools graduate program in 2000. An
outdoor enthusiast, she has spent summers working as a ranger-naturalist
in
Yellowstone
and instructing courses for the National Outdoor
Leadership School (NOLS).

Spirit of the Mountains Day Camp 07 included biking, hiking, swimming,
white water rafting, songs and stories, gondola rides, bungee tramoline, open play,
team building activities, arts and crafts, a talent show and an ice cream
party party. The oldest kids also took part in an overnight trip. The kids could not have had more fun! Out thanks go out to
our sponsors, the Wilson School, Jackson Hole White Water, Lewis and
Clark, Grand Teton Car rental, JHMR, and other groups who helped make our camp a
success.
